DANIEL BRIENT

Born on January 25, 1950 in Canada, he lives in Montréal, Québec.

By the end of his classical school in 1968, He decides to be what he likes the most, a fine artist. Desillusionned by the public art school, resolututely in favor of modern art and unable to teach beautifull realistic fine art, he quickly leaves it.

A few years later, he discovers in Los Angeles, California, the school Mission : Renaissance© (http://www.fineartclasses.com), an independant fine art school, founded by the renowned artist Larry Glück(http://www.larrygluck.com), whose exclusive teaching method revolutionizes the traditional fine art training. It is there he acquires all the fundamental skills to create beautifull lifelike art., in drawing and oil painting.

Another fine artist , Hélène Béland (http://www.helenebeland.ca), is with him and studies at the same school. He will mary her.

He produces afterwards artworks that go on the canadian art market via art galleries. He pursues meanwhile his artistic studies by visiting major north american art museums and the Louvre in Paris.

At the beginning of the 80s, he obtains a licence from Larry Gluck to teach with his method in Canada. He establishes then a Mission : Renaissance© fine art school in Montréal, with the precious help of his dear wife, the artist Béland.

Today, he cares as much for his teaching as for his artistic creation.
