ERIK ZWAGA
Erik Zwaga (Ulft in 1960) is self-taught, in 1980, started painting in the style of the Romantic school. Koekkoek and Schelfhout were his role models and inspiration. Often he visited museums to study the technique of painting. After a period of experimentation and a more abstract direction, he has again chosen the peaceful way of realism. Erik paints mainly still lifes. Atmosphere plays an important role in his work.
