Juana Cañas (pronounced "Can-yas") skilfully combines methods of the Renaissance artists with her own personal style to bring life to the art of still-life painting.
Her pictures hint at the presence of a person, without ever revealing a human figure. This human connection adds a warm and welcoming quality which draws you into the painting.
